Our Baby Friends

I can't express how incredible it is when the friends we have had (many of which we have known since we were babies!) are now parents. A lot of people have baby-free weddings. We understand some of the logic behind that, but it meant a lot to us that our baby friends were welcome to attend our wedding. So, this is a gratuitous post of our adorable baby friends.

Kaitlyn
daughter of Allison & Jeff

Kaitlyn and Braeden became pals.

Jack
son of Miss Dana & Michael

Nicholas
son of Katherine & Brian
baby brother of Peter the Ring Bear

Look at those eyes!!!
Soooo sleepy!!

We also invited my "former baby friends", my cousins Mackenzie and Brian. I used to babysit them when they were "baby friends". It is AMAZING how big they have gotten in what seems like a blink of an eye. I will forever remember when the doors of the sanctuary opened and I heard Brian say to his grandfather, "There's Rachel!" It warmed my heart in an instant!! Little Mackenzie danced up a storm at the reception!! I love those guys so much... I couldn't imagine them not being there.

Mackenzie
daughter of BJ & Becky
sister of Brian

Oh, I wish I could have heard what Braeden was telling Mackenzie!
See?! This girl can dance!
Tuckered out!

Brian
son of BJ & Becky
brother of Mackenzie

Ah ha!! A little camera shy... but we got him!
Goodnight!!

Just wait until you see how cute our little flower girl and ring bear were!!

Darcy is Nearly 3 Months!!

Hello All!! Darcy is a few days shy of being 3 months old. She has adjusted fairly well to apartment life. She has just now started telling us when she needs to go out. Now if only we listen every time! Often her telling us is just whining and giving us "the look". We are madly in love with this little girl. Here she is taking up the entire width of the couch. Her check up at the vet is on Thursday. We wouldn't be surprised if she weighs at least 12 pounds (double what she weighed 3 weeks ago!).Darcy makes friends easily!

And just in case you don't believe me that she is the most adorable dog ever... I have included a video to prove it.

The Last Moments of Being a Wall

Getting Our Hair Done:
Here is Tisha and Braeden while they wait their turn. She was completely still and behaved in the chair.
Of course Braeden draws a crowd of onlookers... (Katherine and Kimmy)
Here is the Queen of the World getting pampered. (Brittany and Mom.)
Here is Heather checking out the jewelery section at the salon.
Allison looking gorgeous!

Here is Miss Kim... a little shy. Her hair needed a little TLC when we got home, but she looked great!
Here is Katherine's final look. It might have been the best up-do of the day.
Here is my hair- topped off with my hair comb from Lulu Splendor.

**Sadly, I had to leave for my make-up appointment so I didn't get to snap a picture of Tisha & Kimberly's hair appointment.
Later that day...
The Veil:

The Garter: (Made exclusively by Miss Dana!)My Something Borrowed: (Allison's Wedding Shoes)The Rings: The Flowers:We bought boutonnieres for our fathers, grandfathers and godfathers. Our mothers, grandmothers and godmothers received wrist corsages. My flowers consisted of ivory roses and green hydrangea. It was all accented with green hypericum berries and bear grass.
Chris, Allison and I made the girls' bouquets- pedal by pedal! These are none other than Martha Stewart's crepe paper flowers. They were accented by manzanita branches. I will post about these later!

My Something Old:
If you look closely, you could see the sapphire and diamond ring on my right hand. That ring was one of the first rings my grandfather, Bumpy, gave my Grammy.

Getting the Cutest Flower Girl in the World Ready:
Oh boy!!
Just in case: (Allison's gift to me!)

Come on! Let's get this show on the road!!!!!

Let's Go!!
