There is no secret how Chris and I met. Although I am always a little embarrassed and proud to fully admit it, we were matched on EHarmony. I had hit an all-time low in the dating scene. As a teacher whose co-workers are all women and a member of a all-women a cappella group, I wasn't meeting anyone new. People were anxious to set me up with their cousins and friends. Wow. After meeting up with some of these fools, I was starting to seriously consider a life of celibacy.
On April 4, 2007, we were matched up. I looked at his profile and thought he looked cute. I am a sucker for for blue eyes and dimples. He was a Yalie, though. For one reason or another, I kept being matched with ivy leaguers. I met two of them and they were crazy. So, luckily, Chris was cute enough to keep. He then contacted me and we started emailing. I really started looking forward to his letters! We started talking on the phone and set up a day to meet.
On May 23, 2007, Chris and I met at the Starbucks in Watertown, CT. I figured this was a neutral place. Watertown is my hometown and is 30 mintues from where I live. You could never be safe enough! I arrived early and ordered my drink. When he arrived I was suprised he wasn't shorter and I was shocked he was so cute! He made me so nervous... I chattered like a monkey. I guess that was a good thing! We had our second date a couple weeks later. We saw Mr. Brooks and had ice cream at Pralines in Southbury, CT. Our third date was a leisurely walk on the Canal Tail in Hamden. It was all over then, we were inseparable. Look out world!!

New Beginnings
I always thought those people that had blogs were either one of two things. They were either incredibly funny people that are looking for another outlet to voice their thoughts of hilarity or narcissistic people that could only survive in a cyberworld. I don't fit into either category, so this is my place to share the latest in what makes my world tick. I plan to share wedding plans, life events, and other snippets that entertain me.
